Health and Social Care Assessor

We are currently looking for a Health and Social Care Assessor to deliver the ‘Level 2 Apprenticeship in Health and Social Care’ and ‘Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care’. You must be able to:

  • Induct and support learners through their qualification by offering them relevant direction and advice
  • Assess learner work using a range of methods, give constructive feedback and agree action plans
  • Ensure portfolios meet standards expected by the IQA
  • Be involved in and contribute to all quality assurance activities

Personal specifications

  • Be good at planning workload, assessments and completing work within the appropriate timeframe.
  • Work very flexibly in order to support the needs of learners, employers and funders
  • Reliable and good at timekeeping
  • Experience of assessing Health and Social Care NVQ qualifications highly desirable

Qualifications

  • CAVA, A1 or equivalent Assessor qualification
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care

Health and Social Care and Childcare Internal Quality Assurer

We are currently looking for a Health and Social Care and Childcare Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) to quality assure the ‘Level 2 Apprenticeship in Health and Social Care’ and ‘Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care’. You must be able to:

  • Prepare, plan and execute an appropriate range of quality assurance activities across the 2 subject areas
  • Monitor the quality of the assessor team’s performance, support and give constructive feedback to assessors
  • Ensure portfolios meet the standards expected by an EQA
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and ensure all awarding organization and funding body standards are met

Personal specifications

  • Be good at planning workload and completing work within the appropriate timeframe. Good at timekeeping
  • Able to manage multiple demands on time
  • Work flexibly in order to support the needs of assessors, our learners and our funders
  • Experience of quality assuring Health and Social Care qualifications highly desirable

Qualifications

  • CAVA, A1 or equivalent Assessor qualification
  • QA, V1 or equivalent IQA qualification
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and/or Childcare
